INTRODUCTION

The modern construction industry is constantly evolving, requiring the introduction of new technologies and materials. Construction of work efficiency increase , labor spending reduce and final product quality improve today’s of the day the most current from issues is one . It is this such as problems solution to do aimed at innovative from materials one this spontaneously condensing concrete is considered .

Self-compacting concrete can be used in the production of precast concrete and reinforced concrete structures, as well as for monolithic concreting at the construction site. They can be prepared in the concrete mixing plant of the plant and transferred to the reinforced concrete structure production workshop or delivered to the construction site using concrete mixing machines. The mixtures can then be placed in horizontal or vertical structures using pumping or pouring equipment. When designing the composition of the mixture, the size and shape of the structure, the size and density of the reinforcing bars and the coating should be taken into account.

Self-compacting concrete is a highly fluid concrete mixture that has the ability to fill the formwork under its own weight, fill voids in densely reinforced structures, and compact without additional mechanical influences, such as vibration. This property allows it to be widely used in creating architectural elements of complex shape, concreting densely reinforced structures, and significantly accelerating the construction process.

Self-compacting concrete technology was developed in Japan in the late 1980s by Professors Hajime Okamura, Masahiro Ouchi, Koichi Maekawa and Kazumasa Ozawa as a response to the shortage of skilled workers in the construction industry. Since then, the technology has spread throughout the world, revolutionizing construction due to its advantages.

The main purpose of this methodological manual is to provide students, young researchers and engineers working in the construction industry with information on the theoretical foundations, composition design principles, technological processes and quality control methods of self-compacting concrete. The manual provides detailed information on the components of self-compacting concrete, their interaction, stages of concrete mix design based on the Okamura methodology , methods for determining rheological properties and practical applications.
